Lithium SMSC – April 2026 OS Security Update

Overview

Skyvera has successfully completed the April 2026 operating system security update for the Lithium SMSC platform. This update focuses on enhancing system security by addressing known vulnerabilities within the underlying OS components.

Scope of the Update

This release includes Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8 (RHEL8) security patches targeting vulnerabilities in several core system packages, including but not limited to:

• OpenSSL

• SQLite

• net-snmp

• zlib

• BIND

• NetworkManager

Note:

There are no changes to the Lithium SMSC application layer in this update. All fixes are limited to the operating system and supporting components.
