Overview

An alarm was generated on the AWS Load Balancer of the Ireland region regarding an “Unhealthy status” of AMS/FRA AGW nodes. The same setup in the Frankfurt region is healthy and working as expected. You could not find any issues in AGW node status and now you want to know if there is something missing from the AGW configuration or if there is something wrong on the nodes’ side.

While there are some specific configurations we have for each application, these are common across all regions and can not be a cause of this issue. This issue might be caused by a problem in the network between AWS LBs and AGWs.
