Overview

You may be deploying a new SS7 signaling firewall system (S7FW) to perform signaling detection and protection, and reframing their SS7/Diameter signaling network. Due to this change, you need to adjust the Lab Lithium system signaling link with the new S7FW node.

Information

Please create a support ticket so that we can share the steps for the integration of the signaling link with the new S7FW node. In that ticket, include:

• The detailed new S7FW Sigtran signaling link information
• The current configuration files in the Traffic Elements under the /usr/TextPass/etc folder:
  • common_config.txt
  • 'hostname'_config.txt file
• The schedule for implementing the new firewall system

We will prepare a Method of Procedure (MOP) and, if needed, plan a meeting to discuss additional details.
