Overview
You notice issues in the SMSC server with the following database alarms related to the SSI functionality:

Running the tp_status command shows that the SSI process uptime is short:
You may have tried restarting 'ndbmtd' service on the affected nodes without success, with the following error message:
2021-02-09 11:26:08 [ndbd] ERROR -- Failed to allocate nodeid, error: 'Error: Could not alloc node id at <IP_address> port <port_number>: No free node id found for ndbd(NDB).'
Starting /usr/local/sbin/ndbmtd
may have also failed.
Solution
The SSI is a process that is related to the SPF NDB cluster, and this issue is usually in the NDB Cluster itself. To resolve the issue, please follow the steps in SSI Process is Down to restart the SPF NDB cluster.
