Overview

You want to know if it is possible to have a certain Retry Configuration/Profile for a list of senders originating from a particular ESME, while the rest of the senders from the same ESME have a different Retry Configuration/Profile.

Solution

This can be done by creating different entities following the steps below:

1. Go to Storage -> Scheme and click on "Add new".

2. Add a new Delivery Scheme with the desired retry configuration intervals.

3. Go to Storage -> Queues and click on "Add new".

4. Create a new queue and set the Delivery Scheme field to the one that you created in step 2.

5. Go to Routing -> Routing Rules and click "Add new".

6. Create a new Routing Rule with the desired conditions based on the list of Originators or ESME and choose a routing path that involves AMS so that a new AMS Queue created can be assigned to the routing rule.
