Is there a way to control an MT delivery when a network alert is received

Overview

You received a network alert that MS is ready for SMS MT after a failed SMS due to an absent subscriber. You want to know if there is a way to configure the MT delivery upon such notifications versus the delivery schema.

Information

In tp_walkall output, you can find the value of amsnetworkalertdelaytime. It should look something like this: amsPropNetworkAlertDelayTime.0 = Gauge32: 30.

The default value is 0. In the example above, the AMS will wait 30 seconds before it tries to deliver the MT after receiving the alert.

For the tp_qcli, please check the AMS operator manual, Appendix B "Query Command Line Interface"

For the alert option, you will find the below example in the manual -
